  I just came back from a 2 week vacation here, and I am pleasantly surprised. For the price we paid, we got a lot. The location is perfect: right on the beach and 20 minutes away from Havana. The food is very decent for a 3-star. The rooms were a bit rough, but nothing horrible. The staff is what made the resort amazing. The free daily shuttle to Havana is also a plus. I will be coming back here next time I come to Cuba.

  Was a little nervous to book a weeks stay at this location but was pleasantly surprised. The staff was great and the rooms were clean and the beachfront location was amazing. The hotel offers a daily shuttle starting 10 a.m. and pickup at 5 p.m. in old Havana. It was a beautiful bus ride down to Old Havana only 20 minutes (keep in mind you have to reserve a seat on the shuttle ahead of time.. Day before). Food here as decent, lots of beans and rice ..you won't go hungry...just not a huge selection. Buffet for breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., lunch 12:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., supper 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. there is also a snack bar located outside along pool starting 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. serving burgers and sandwiches. The hotel offers a 24-hour bar service where they have a variety of drinks and alcohol. The coffee here is amazing, and I brought a water bottle from home that they had no problem refilling.. So there was no need to go buy your own case of water. Hotel only uses bottle water for guests. Hotel also has a small store attached. It has gift shop items as well as toiletries. Hotel also provides free paddle boat uses for guests as well as 30-minute catamarans rides free of charge (ask on beach). Hotel does not provide free Wi-Fi however you can purchase Wi-Fi cards charging one peso per hour .. Super reasonable and you don't have to use your hour up in one go! If you get hungry in the middle of the night there are tiki bars off the hotel resort but locate right next to hotel on either side that are open to 5 a.m. we went here one night when we got back late from old Havana food was great. Beach towels are offered with a $10 deposit which you can get back at the end of your stay or whenever you wish. You can exchange your beach towels daily for fresh ones. Overall stay was great and I was happy to not have booked a hotel in downtown Havana since we would have missed out on the beautiful oceanfront.

  Such a great place. Pretty decent for a 3 star. The food isn't great but it isn't bad either. Rooms are decent. But the staff are wonderful and the beach is amazing. I have already came back here once, the staff as I said are so amazing, coming back I felt so welcomed by the staff that remembered me. And I definitely intend to return again. My second time back I was given a third floor room, the view was incredible but the stairs were too much for my mother and I, we both have bad knees. We were unable to get a first floor room right away but got one the next day after lunch once someone left.
