  De savoureux sandwichs... sérieusement ??? Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, tout le personnel était attablé en terrasse. Nous avons commandé un plat de pâtes, un sandwich au jambon serrano, une limonade au concombre et une au miel. 2 cuisiniers se sont levés et dirigés vers la cuisine, l'un s'est "brossé" les sourcils et à commencé à cuisiner sans se laver les mains bien sûr. Le sandwich consistait en un pain blanc, pas cuit mais en même temps complètement dur et rassi avec du jambon serrano dedans et une feuille de laitue. Pas bon du tout, surtout que je fus malade toute la nuit (les conditions d'hygiène devaient être mauvaises). Les pâtes étaient correctes. Les plats ont été servis très rapidement, donc produits préparés à l'avance, et doutes sur la qualité de conservation des aliments. Enfin, les limonades n'étaient pas mauvaises, mais beaucoup trop sucrées (comme toutes les boissons à Cuba). Bref, le patio est charmant, ce qui rend le cadre attrayant, mais la nourriture est chère et mauvaise, un attrape-touriste en somme.

  .....this cafe is right in the Plaza Vieja, we found the host to be very friend-lii and talkative, he was very surprised to have guest from South Africa and even mentioned that in the 3 years he has been here he never had South Africans so surprising but must be true! We had good mojitos here and the fast foods that they serve here is not bad for Cuban standards! Nothing is really cheap in Cuba because of the Dollar / Peso CUC exchange, when changing dollars in Cuba you even lose 10%! I'm told that if you exchange Euro or Pounds there is No Charge of 10%???????...Here they have seating in the Main Square outside and also a love-lii restaurant in the main building very clean and nice-lii decorated! We had an enjoyable time here every-time we visited!....................

  Lovely courtyard. Tasty (though pricey) sandwich.
