  Serenity and hospitality in beautiful, clean colonial style house.Very central , yet very quite. Welcoming, considerate , helpful and well educated hosts. Great hospitality and generous portions of food. Those people are the real locals who are opening their house and hearts for you, and a touristic place like Trinidad , they are really hard to find Spacious, well isolated from the noise and clean room Nice breakfast, Generous portion Thanks "El Chino" and the family. We appreciate your hospitality!

  Casa colonial de 1920, ubicada en el centro de la ciudad, a 10 minutos del casco histórico y la Plaza Mayor, sólo 100 metros del Parque Céspedes, en la calle Antonio Guiteras (Mercedes) # 208 e/n Frank País (Carmen) y Miguel Calzada (Borrell), 1 habitación espaciosa con 2 camas(1 doble y 1 personal), aire acondicionado, refrigerador, baño privado y agua caliente 24 h, closet, patio grande con jardín y espacio para el disfrute de la naturaleza y la tranquilidad, seguridad y confort, brindamos servicios gastronómicos de desayunos, almuerzos y cenas, lavandería, excursiones a caballo a la montaña(baños en cascadas), bicicletas para rentar, clases de baile, se habla Inglés, se entiende un poco de Italiano y Francés, buen trato al huésped para que se sienta en familia, estamos cerca de todos los lugares de interés de nuestra ciudad. Más de 10 años de preferencia y visitas por repetidas veces entre los turistas a nuestra casa le auguran unos días inolvidables en nuestra bella ciudad Trinidad de Cuba al cliente. We provide you services of breakfast, lunch, dinner, laundry, excursions on horseback into the mountains (swimming in waterfalls), bicycle for rent, dance classes. English is spoken, a very little Italian and French. We welcome you into our home and treat you as a member of our family. We are close to all the interesting place.   To summarize all of the things written below: This Casa is awesome and we can highly recommend it! We (male 26 years, female 22 years, from Germany) stayed at the Casa Elia Aladro for 5 nights during our backpacking-tour through Cuba in August 2014. Our travelguide stated, that guests in this casa are treated like kings and queens, and it did not lie about that. Elia and her daughter and son-in-law are very very nice and take care of everything you could possibly hope for...it feels just like home! Whether it is the big breakfast, dinner, the laundry (no fix costs for that, you can pay them whatever you feel like giving...), the service is excellent. The room has a double and a single bed, air-conditioning and a refridgerator, a private bathroom is right next to it. The entire "suite" for the guests is located in a seperate part of the house which can be reached via the small and beautiful courtyard, where birds and a rabbit as well as many colorful plants make you feel like in a littel zoo. The courtyard with it's rocking chairs can be used at any time and are also the place where the optional meals are being served. The casa is located close to the Plaza Carillo, so everything in Trinidad is within walking distance. A supermarket is just 3 minutes away, the internet shop merely 1 minute. Good restaurants are all around, to the center of Trinidad at the Plaza Mayor it only takes 7 minutes of walking. Chino, the son-in-law, speaks very good English and helps with everything, whether it is organizing horseback riding in the natural reserve, negotiating taxi fares with the local drivers or just giving price-recommendations for what to pay for items (the ladies in the shops and supermarkets usually try to rip off tourists by charging higher prices for water and other daily necessities...don't let them fool you, Chino tells you what to pay and how to get the price you want ;-) )! Apart from these useful and helpful services, it is also very nice to just chat with him about Cuba and Cuban culture, rum and domino, one of the favorite games in Cuba...he can even teach it to you :D So, long story short, we really enjoyed our stay at Casa Elia Aladro, can only recommend it to anyone visiting Trinidad, and we hope to make it back there one day ourselves!
