  It was very special and remarkable to dine in a place where Hemingway was regular. Very delicious food and cocktails. Fabulous uplifting music. Havana paid tributes to Hemingway by placing statue of him in his favourite spot as a timeless reminder on a great friend of Cuba. It takes you back to fascinating times. He visited Cuba and enjoyed mohito way before many Americans could do it again.

  IT WAS PACKED when we went in and it took FOREVERRR to get a waitress to serve us for dinner but once we got food it was good and the “original daiquiris” are to DIE FOR!

  I didn't eat there. But I took a drink. It was quick and good service. The AC is strong. Music nice, and they sell Wi-Fi cards in the place. Over all pretty cool experience.

  Nice place in the heart of old Havana. Serve excellent daiquiris, which is what they are known for, but is definitely a popular tourist attraction. The bar is associated with Ernest Hemmingway as his favorite watering hole and there's even a statue of him at the bar!

  This is apparently the place that served Ernest Hemingway's favourite daiquiri (not sure if I spelled that right). It's a very different feel to the other bar with a strong Hemingway connection, just down the road. It's nice place though and the daiquiri is good too.
