Stylish and expensive hotel. Did not stay but had a drink in the lobby bar and watched the football. Looked nice but very much aimed at wealthy tourists. Staff were pleasant and offered to assist with taxis when we left.

Be aware that if you stay here you will be sharing your space with black mould, bed bugs, cockroaches and general filth. As well, you will be inadvertently sharing your bed with whomever used those linens before you. While I think my bed linens were washed I cannot be certain. All sorts of stains most of which reflected bodily secretions of one sort or another. Oh and I must not forget to mention, what I guess to be squashed bed bug spots dotting the sheets. Looking at light filled photos on line you might expect light in your room, dont! Very dark room needed my phone light to read. The towels were threadbare, stained and somehow chewed up. Machine? Animal? Not sure. The smells that permeate and seem to be pumped into the rooms are chemical; awful heavy paint; mould; steaming and cooking of ham and grease....layers of bad smells that permeate everything. In short: dirty, devoid of fresh air, windows won't open, shutters covered with mold, all things like towel racks and light fixtures and electrical wires dangling (perilously close to water sources). Everything in disrepair. My friend wondered why her bed was so sloped. Answer, the box spring base was broken on one side. Beds full of pokey springs. One final remark, the reviews that I've read that were positive seem to all be written by local guides. Dont believe them! If you have read this far consider yourself warned!

Once a classy hotel in the 1950's. No maintenance done since. No hot water, no light in the bathroom, broken tiles everywhere and dodgy wiring in the room. They are working to restore the building but for the high price check back in a few years. Staff OK and stable Internet WiFi in lobby.

Came here for a rooftop drink/classic car ride through Air BnB. Great views of Havana, you can probably come here by yourself and get a drink to get access to the rooftop bar.
