::If i could give it 1/2 a star i would. Where to begin... Stayed here May 30th to June 4th 2019 and glad it was only that long. Those photos pictured above...look nothing like this hotel - habe to be Photoshop! Had to wait a lomg time to check in as only 1 of the 2 workers behind the desk were helping for check in and this was at about 5:30/6pm. Then the power went out in the middle of our check in, so we had to carry our luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Stained bed sheets, very flat uncomfortable pillows and matress. Air conditioner only cooled the room decently by the 3rd day by running it all day/night (our friends room was better). Moldy dirty bathrooms. Toilet wouldn't completely flush, unless it was held down and flushed 5 times. No face clothes, no toilet paper holder. Didn't get bath towels left for us on 1 day or bottled drinking water every day. Hardly any hot water, and only kicked in after letting it run and waiting 10mins. No water on 1 day for entire resort for a couple of hours. Beer ran out on 2 nights, mojito mix not always available and their 'frozen' drink mixes weren't frozen. Swim up bar is very small, very shallow only came up to maybe my knees, and it also ran out of beer. Mosquitoes were the worst!! But doesn't help that there is still standing water in the middle of the lobby. So ensure you bring bug spray and afterbite! Only decent thing was the beach - and I am All about the beach! Varadero is known to be windy a lot which causes a lot of waves, but it was manageable. I never complain about Cuban resort food when i go, as i stick to the local seafood and cooked/hot items, and know what to avoid. But there was NO seafood except for baked/poached fish portions, and for one lunch the fish was bbq'd. No lobster or shrimp! :( Breakfast is served at the beach buffet area so you have to walk all the way down to the entrance to the beach. This place needs a complete gut job and rebuild. Would never go back, and is Not a 3star hotel as is right now.

::The beach is amazing, beautiful, breathtaking. I am so lucky to see and swim the pristine water of this beautiful Caribbean island. Beach no problem Hotel workers are amazing, hardworking and always giving their best to help out. Hotel? BIG PROBLEM. HOTEL ROOM HAD ROACHES, PILLOW had lots of molds, broken shower head. No hot water,worst of all food is boring, repetitive, and lack of choices.

::This was my second time to Sol Sirenas Coral. I really like the resort, the beach is amazing and the staff is beyond great. The food wasn't as good as it was 3 years ago but I didn't starve. The only negative thing is I came home with strange bug bites that are huge and had to go to the hospital and got antibiotics for infection. It wouldn't stop me from returning to this resort but I would wear bug spray at all times. We always had water replenished in our rooms and fresh towels. The resort is older and is closing in November for major renovation's. I thought the place needed some updates but could see past the small things as I wasn't expecting a 4 star resort as per Canadian standards. I love this place

::My wife and I stayed here at the beginning of 2017 and we had a great time though we had a few complaints. Our bed wasn't comfortable and the shower was usually cold. Overall this hotel was fine. Nothing was a deal breaker though we would probably stay somewhere else in the future. We wrote about our stay in detail on our blog randrwander if you want more info.

::The beach was amazing The hotel is old.... needs to be fully renovated. Its like a 2 star. Rooms need alot of attention. You'll be lucky to get new clean towels. It took more than 48 hours after being told 10 minutes. Food was better than accepted. Great service at the buffet and bars. Said online they have 9 restaurants and that's a lie..
