  Not sure why this place has good reviews. We waited 20 mins to get menus and another 20 minutes for food. Our waiter Tony was very rude, maybe because me and my wife came in with our beach clothing? Tony messed up our order. The place claims they are willing to accommodate dietary restrictions..but Tony failed at doing so, Tony charged us extra when he altered our dinner order without permission. Absolutely terrible experience. We spent a lot of money for mediocre food and terrible service.

  The food was delicious! My cousin and I shared a Greek salad and margherita pizza and my sister had mushroom risotto.. the dishes were fresh and flavourful. It was a highlight of our trip! 😊

  Food is generally bad in Cuba (blame the US trade embargo for this), and often so is the service (Cubans dont get out of Cuba much to see how service can/should be). Also being vegetarian is difficult! But Salsa Suarez is one of the gems where you get excellent food, ingredients, choice and service! Also good veggie options. We loved it and ate here multiple times. If your in the Varadero are you should absolutely book a table here, you wont regret it

  Let me start with the food was amazing. However the service was comical in how poor it was. As a female I was ignored. Unless my male companion spoke for me. I ordered a tukola ( cola pop) as did he.. and the waiter made it clear we both wanted a pop.. but only brought one.. and poured it for him.. my food was dropped before me while his was placed gently. This was the only place I would not of left a tip during my whole trip.

  This is one of the best places I have tried abroad. The food is too quality and there is so much detail in the service they provide. The price they charge for the service they provide is extremely reasonable. I will definitely recommend trying their sea food which comes with its own fire works show off. Made our dinner memorable. Thank you
