  Beware of duplicate transactions! The service was great at the bank but when we returned from Varadero we noticed that the money we withdrew using our debit card with a bank teller was done twice. It could have been human error or a glitch in the system but it was still an inconvenience to have to call our bank and straighten it out. Our card had to be cancelled and we had to call a few different numbers before the issue was resolved so just be sure to check your bank account when you return to Canada if you can't do it abroad.

  The ATM, located outside the bank entrance, accepted my BMO debit card without issue. Hope this info is helpful to other travellers.

  Good service once in but we have to barely fight to get in. Everyone stands in front of the door and they let us in one by one.

  This bank is too busy. If you want a shorter line up go to the one at the end of the strip beside villa kawama. I spent almost 2 hours in line here.
