  This was one of the more expensive meals we had in cienfuegos for the lowest quality, service, hygiene and ambience. The waitress was in a foul mood because she was the only one doing any work, the paella salty, microwaved and almost inedible, the tomato shrimp microwaved and mushy and unsafe. The red wine given to my partner was the dregs of two bottles. The tomato shrimp gave my partner food poisoning that lasted 2 days - a tip our casa host gave us after this was to not ever get fish /shrimp cooked in tomato as it's a common way to disguise the taste of food that's gone off. All in all, very disappointing. We stuck to Cuban sandwiches and pizza for the rest of our time in cienfuegos as couldn't trust the more interesting food after this experience.

  Calling it mediocre would be unfair to those who can use a microwave correctly. Sometimes you make a mistake, in this case, it was assuming that, because the same shrimp dish was 8 CUC at big bang, yet just 4 CUC twenty meters away, would mean it's going to be fresh, better, or at least adequate. No, instead it's microwaved from frozen so aggressively the texture is destroyed. The waitresses was in a foul mood, maybe the service matches the food... She appeared to regard the bar staff with the upmost contempt, which as events unfolded was certainly deserved. How can you forget to pour a glass of wine, get the red confused with the white, to then only offer up two thirds of a serving compromised of the dregs of two bottles? I felt bad for our waitress, she wanted to do more. The people having the cheaper pasta dishes looked a lot less disappointed. Also if you do go here, avoid the paella. Watching them simply shake and flip the tablecloth after the group next to us had left made me question the hygiene too.

  El mejor lugar de Cienfuegos para tomar un desayuno lo mismo ligero que fuerte. Hay para todos los gustos. Una esmerada atención en sus empleados pude encontrar. Muy rico todo y con mucha calidad. Todo muy limpio y ordenado. También es recomendable para una merienda o un almuerzo informal y ligero. Lo recomiendo.

  We fall in love with this place. They have a very good menu, great customer service and fair prices. Go and you won't regret it.
