This is a good hotel for a first time in Havana. Clean, safe, good food. The place is not cheap but the standards are good. Check in is very strict for 3:00 pm. The room is comfortable and with good services. Internet worked decently around the hotel. There are various restaurants in the property with good food. Remember to bring European adaptors to connect your devices, in case you come from USA, Canada, Latin America or UK for example. If you did not bring yours they have available in the business center but you need to leave a deposit. The beach and the pool area are beautiful. If you want to go to the city center you will need a taxi, but the hotel also has a free shuttle.

Nice and clean is one of the best deal you can get in Havana although not very near to the city center.(10 minutes by taxi) Not really cheap but comfortable.

I received a phone call at about 6 pm to my room. When I picked up the phone, there was a Spanish man on the other line. I said "hello?" And he responded "Canadian girl? Canadian girl! You are Canadian girl!!". How did this man get my room number, who is he and why did the staff give away my room number to him? There were three people I spoke to that day that asked me where I was from - the pool attendant, the server at the buffet, and a man from Colombia I rode the elevator with. I felt violated and very uncomfortable. Not to mention there are no deadbolts on the door. So completely inappropriate
