::A wonderful surprise. A rustic beach concrete structure with welcoming shade, just down the road from a secluded strip of sand beach with coral reef at shore's edge. We stopped by a cold drink and ordered their seafood combo plate to share with no expectations...one of the best meals in Cuba! Lobster, huge shrimp, and the only octopus available in our 2 week stay! Incredible flavors, not always the norm in a country with limited resources. The location is on the original beach road on the Ancon peninsula. A new road carries the endless tour buses/taxis about a half kilometer away to the massive hotels a few kilometers away. Raw, natural paradise, thanks to the owner's of Casa Novoa in nearby Casilda for sharing their secret!!
