  The food was amazingly good. Especially for Varadero. The food is pricey, so I'd recommend you go earlier in your trip than later. As depending where you are, a taxi there and back is like $20. There was entertaining live music that provided great ambiance for the meal

  It's a tourist trap. You'll get jammed by the taxi driver who will suggest this place even though he will offer to wait for you. While he's waiting and after you've ordered he gets a commission for taking you here. The food is near $20 a plate in Cuba. This should be your first tip, chicken and fries should never cost more than $7 even in Havana usually less than $5. Don't get ripped off at this place. If a taxi driver takes you here insist on somewhere else or walk back up to the main drag and you'll find better restaurants. I'll give this place one thing the food is decent but not special.

  We had a good meal here and the live music was fantastic. The only drawback was that they allow smoking on their covered patio.

  My wife and I visited Pequeno Suarez on Wednesday October 19, 2017, for lunch. My wife had ordered the Chicken Tortilla and I had ordered the Cuban Shredded Beef. I assure you, the food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were large, but manageable. The pricing is right in line with the quality, perhaps even bordering on good value for the money. What tipped the scales over, was the service. Our servers, as well as the band playing, were all absolutely first rate. This was one of the best meal experiences I have had in a very long time. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant, if you find yourself in Varadero, Cuba. Morris - Ottawa, ON Canada
