  Privately run boutique hotel. Very nice room with great bed and airco. Good shower although warm water wont last a long time. Lovely roof terrace and a nice fresh breakfast. Strongly recommend and much better than a government run hotel. Hosts were ever so helpful to organise things.

  Had a fly-by visit to Santa Clara (Cuba) but wish I could have stayed at this lovely B&B longer. The hosts are so lovely and the lady of the house will give you a terrific run down of the house, the area and the city, including its history, with a sincerity and pride that is touching. The breakfast was lovely and the courtyard has humming birds visit! I really liked their interesting selection of home made jams. The room seemed Spartan at first but I liked the bed and like most Cuban casas it was absolutely spotless. After a night there I decided I actually quite liked the room - the building and furniture are simple but elegant and the light is lovely.

  As an American we have only recently been allowed to visit Cuba. My first night I stayed by myself at this lovely case particular which I found only after a long extensive search on the Internet. It was an experience of a life time I won't forget as the owners are so gracious and the casa particular is a beautiful example of a grand dwelling in Santa Clara. I loved the architecture and especially my room. Gloria and her husband opened their place just in April 2018 and there were not many reviews posted. So I didn't know what to expect. Gloria was born in Santa Clara and is extremely well educated and willing to share her knowledge of Cuba and offer suggestions while in Santa Clara. Her husband whom she met in Florence is the one who cooks the delicious meals which are served on the outside patio which is charming with many plants and lights. I unfortunately had forgotten all my guides books so was thrilled to find some amazing books in the living room on Cuba by a famous photographer. All were signed as Gloria met him on a plane back from Italy where she and her husband spend several months a year. After my two night stay I went to join my tour group who were staying at a terrible hotel. Many were my friends so they enjoyed seeing my place and especially Gloria who is so interesting and friendly. She even gave us daiquiris. The place where the group was staying was so unappealing that I returned to Suite Florencia another night. I spent a total 12 days in Cuba and feel lucky that I had such a great start to the trip. It was definitely a five star experience if you are looking for a Cuban experience.

  This B&B is being run with the utmost care, eye for detail and the highest quality standards. Despite the status of a B&B this place can stand up with regard to the service level and personal approach to any (European) top class hotel. Worth every penny.
