  A recent return here confirms, that this must be one of the best places to stay in Playa Larga ,Bay of Pigs area. I was very impressed a few years ago when I stayed with Daniel and Iyima , but even more-so now. Not only have they expanded the number of very well appointed rooms, but have managed to keep the same friendly and helpful attitude that encourages you to want to stay a few more days each time you visit. Don't miss out on a fantastic place to stay with knowledgeable and friendly hosts. Such a wonderful place to spend your vacation time. Sometimes all the right things just line up in row. Treat yourself to that feeling of " I'm so happy to be here" by staying here with Motica and Iyima. The food ...the beaches ...the hosts... the overall experience is one that is great for the senses and good for the soul. The casa is perfectly situated, close to everything you might want. Choose an upstairs room for wonderful ocean breezes that will keep you cool and day dreaming to come back soon.

  Just returned from Playa Larga. What an amazing experience we had. Daniel definitely made us feel at home and so welcome. The sights, the sounds, the food just made me want to stay forever.

  I would highly recommend this casa particular as the family who own and operate it are kind, warm-hearted and generous. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, meals were prepared with thought and attention to my friend's allergy restrictions. Daniel, Lyima and Yolanda were gracious and helpful making us feel welcomed after we had a poor experience with our booking at another casa being cancelled. We never fully understood the reason and the alternatives presented were poor so we decided to look for ourselves and were delighted with finding the Rio-Mar. I especially loved dining at the casa overlooking the fishing boats, feeling the cool evening breeze as we dined on freshly prepared dishes. We lucked out and had live entertainment one night which was a great bonus! Daniel directed us to great snorkeling and we would have stayed longer if we had the time. Stayed March 2015, traveled with friends I am still recommending this Casa 3 years later as I have strong memories of how well we were treated!

  Villa Rio-Mar is a great place to stay when you visit Playa Larga or the area. We spent 4 days there in June 2015 and we couldn't have been more pleased: Daniel y Iyima are such lovely people, always smiling, always helpful. They offer breakfast, meals, mojitos (really good). Ask for the room upstairs to enjoy the view and the meals from the balcony! Playa Larga beach is up to 5 minutes away from the casa and the neighbourhood is really quiet and peaceful. Would definitly recommand to any person going to Cuba.
