  Visited February 2019. This hotel should be closed by the health department. The rooms are covered in black mold, the shower curtain had rust and mold stains, ceilings in the lobby has mold and yellow water stains and peeling paint. The hotel staff is unprofessional and condescending. You have to pay for bottled water in an "all inclusive" resort where the tab water is not recommended for drinking. In order to go to the beach you have to leave the resort and cross the street. The food was terrible except the fresh tomatoes and cabbage. The "all inclusive" bar serves low quality local drinks, they do not have Havana Club rum or any rum of quality. The public bathrooms are filthy. I had booked 10 days. After 2 nights went to Cubatur and managed to fight the Cuban bureaucracy and get my money back and left Cuba for good. I do not mind budget resorts, but they have to be clean!

  This hotel is an absolute nightmare!, Firstly the staff were insanely rude. Bugs and sand in the beds. One gross pool, and you have to PAY for water. I would not let my dog sleep in this hotel and I do not know how anyone stays here! Run for the hills as fast as you can.

  Simple basic hotel. Quite clean. Guests mostly Russians-noisy , Canadians-pensioners ,all kinds of Lat.Americans, Poles etc. Be ready to queue everywhere. Food : when and if you manage to get it Quite Tasty! Beach: close, sandy quite clean. Most rooms sport an ocean view

  We have been to this resort several times. The food is mostly Cuban style, which suits us. We really like it. The staff are friendly. There is hot water when you need it and the beach is fantastic.
